多倫多身為加拿大的第一大城，聚集了約300萬人口，交通路網自然是十分發達。對於初來乍到的朋友們，或許會擔心不知道該如何搭車轉乘，因此這篇文章會針對多倫多的大眾運輸系統做完整的介紹，讓大家在旅遊的過程中都能玩得盡興不怕迷失方向！
多倫多的大眾運輸系統以TTC(Toronto Transit Commission)為主，包含地鐵、巴士、路面電車⋯等種類。TTC曾經在2017獲選為北美最佳的交通運輸系統，以個人的搭乘經驗來說，雖然稱不上是完美無缺，但比起美國紐約的MTA、波士頓的MBTA，已算是相當不錯的了。首先就來針對最常搭乘的地鐵做介紹。
地鐵 Subway
多倫多的地鐵共有四條路線，命名方式分別為Line 1(黃線)、Line 2(綠線)、Line 3(藍線)、Line 4(紫線)。多倫多市區大部分的景點都在Line 1和Line 2可以到達的地方，所以底下會特別針對這兩條路線做更詳盡的說明。
Line 1(黃線)：從路線圖上看得出來，Line 1是以南北向為主，以U字型的方式穿越多倫多市區。在這條沿線上的主要景點像是Eaton Centre(Dundas站)、City Hall(Queen站)、CN Tower/Ripely’s Aquarium(Union站)、Royal Ontario Museum(Museum站)、Chinatown(Spadina站)等等。
Line 2(綠線)：Line 2相較於Line 1，就是以東西向的路線穿越多倫多市區。沿線上的著名景點有：High Park(High Park站)、Bloor Street(Bloor-Yonge站)、Woodbine Beach(Woodbine站)等等。另外若要前往Pearson機場，也可搭乘綠線至Kipling再轉乘900路公車抵達。
地鐵的付費方式可以分為以下兩種：
Cash：使用現金購買單程票搭乘，一次的費用為$3.25。
Presto：Presto好比大家熟悉的悠遊卡，可以儲值金額在卡片中，或是購買單程、來回、日票、月票使用。各式票種的費用可以參考下圖，其中月票的計算方式是從每月的1號至30(31)號止。
巴士 Bus
多倫多的巴士路線多半是沿著縱向/橫向的道路直線行駛，公車的編號即為數字＋道路名稱，像是6 Bay、17 Birchmount等等。在同一條路線上，可能會有快車(Express)和一般車，兩者停靠的站數不太一樣，需要特別留意。
搭乘巴士的費用和地鐵相同，若使用現金付款單次為$3.25，使用Presto的話則比照各式票種的金額。另外要提醒大家的是，多倫多的巴士一律是由前門上車付費，下車時則可以選擇從前門或後門下車。
路面電車 Streetcar
路面電車的運行範圍主要以市中心及湖邊的區域為主。由於電車是沿著路中間的固定軌道行駛，因此不會停靠在路邊，要上下車時須自行穿越道路，不過在多倫多的駕駛都已熟悉這樣的狀況，因此基本上不用擔心交通安全。
路面電車的編號和巴士相同為數字＋道路名稱，而數字皆為5開頭，例如504 King、505 Dundas、510 Spadina等等。
轉乘 Transfer
若使用現金或單程票搭車，之後需再轉乘其他交通工具，公車可以向司機索取轉乘票，地鐵則可以至站內的紅色機器自行領取(下圖左為公車的轉乘票，下圖右則為地鐵的轉乘票)。轉乘票的有效期限為2小時，且只能往同方向搭乘。舉例來說，若往北則不能在往南的方向使用，但東西向可以。另外，若是搭乘公車直接到地鐵站，也就不用再索取轉乘票，可以直接搭乘地鐵 ; 同樣的，若是搭乘地鐵在站內區域直接轉乘公車，也都不用另外付費喔！
